Job Description

Under the supervision of the foreman, the holder of this position is responsible for supporting the team in various requests in order to ensure the fluidity of site operations. To assume this role, you will work in collaboration with foremen and project managers by providing manual support.

Main responsibilities

• Recovery of parts from customers and suppliers
• Travel between construction sites to support foremen and field needs
• Use tie-down and lifting equipment;
• Cleaning of equipment after construction site
• Filling of diesel equipment and vehicles
• Ensure the cleanliness of construction sites
• Installation of safety equipment on site
• Use tools to carry out maintenance tasks in the workshop;
• Carry out daily checks and maintenance of equipment or tools and report any necessary repairs;
• Act as a confined space supervisor (after training)
• Carry out other related tasks requested by foremen

Experience, Skills & Education

• Secondary 5 or DEP;
• 1 year of experience on various construction sites or as a day laborer;
• ASP Construction card
• Valid explosives license is an asset
• Class 5 driving license required
• Driving experience with trailers
• Demonstrate interest and sensitivity towards health and safety at work;
• Be hardworking, autonomous and have a good team spirit
