Groupe Element companies are regional and international leaders in heavy equipment repair and manufacturing across several sectors of industry from mining, construction to forestry.
Today, their privately owned group of companies offer specialized services ranging from heavy equipment repair, custom equipment manufacturing, hydraulic specialty services, laser cutting, biodegradable fluid distribution and tracked forestry harvesting equipment.
In 1992 the forestry harvesting entrepreneur, Jacques Element, acquired his father’s company Donat Element & Son, a forestry equipment dealership.
In 2002, Donat Element & Son became Equipements Element, which took over the sale of heavy machinery.
In 2011 Groupe Element began to solidify as a group of complementary companies and together the partners launched, Technologies Element PSW. This time the company was founded by Jacques Element and his sons, Patrick and Steve, as well as his son-in-law, Patrick Ouellet.
Today the two Patricks share ownership and manage the day to day for the entire group of companies as they continue to expand their footprint, capabilities and employee roster year over year.
