Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team at Eltec.tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective coatings and paints to various industrial surfaces, equipment, and structures using advanced spray techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply paints, lacquers, and other protective coatings using spray guns and/or airless systems
• Mix paints and select appropriate equipment for specific tasks
• Use and maintain painting equipment, including spray paint systems and airless systems
• Ensure proper application of paints and coatings to meet quality standards and client specifications
• Adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Perform basic rigging and general maintenance tasks as needed
• Inspect finished work for quality assurance

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial painting is an asset
• Knowledge of spray painting and airless techniques
• Understanding of different types of paints, coatings, and their applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in various positions
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and safety guidelines
• Valid forklift license is an advantage

Work Environment

• Work is primarily conducted in industrial settings, which may include indoor and outdoor environments
• May involve working at heights or in confined spaces
• Exposure to paint fumes and chemicals; proper use of personal protective equipment is required
